Steelhead have started however the cold front could slow things down again. Boat and shore anglers are tossing flies or jigs with wax worms and wigglers. Good catfish and crappie action on the Hodenpyl backwaters.

Steelhead fishing is slowly improving, but the rivers are low, clear, and cold. Thawing along with increased runoff will bring more fish in soon.

Steelhead are still being caught however higher water levels did not bring good numbers of fish into the river. Catch rates should only get better as we move closer to spring.

Steelhead fishing should pick up with the thaw. Still early for the main run however there should be some fresh fish moving in and the winter fish will become more active.
